The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results for the Class 10 Board Examinations 2025 today, May 13, 2025. The national pass percentage stands at 93.66%.Last year, in 2024, the pass percentage was 93.60, this year, it has witnessed a surge of 0.06%. Girls have attained 95%, outperforming boys, who have secured 92.63%. In total, 8.43% of students have scored above 90%, and 1.92% have bagged above 95% in the Board exams. According to the official website, around 5.96% of students have been placed in compartment.While this marks a successful year for students across the country, the Prayagraj region has faced a decline, securing a pass percentage of 91.01% and dropping to the 15th position from last year’s 11th position, when it had recorded a pass percentage of 92.72%. Students can check their results through the official CBSE websites—cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in—or access digital marksheets via DigiLocker, the UMANG app, and SMS-based services.The results reveal a significant variation in performance across regions, with some areas showcasing exceptional results, while others, like Prayagraj, indicate the need for stronger academic interventions. In the CBSE Class 10 exams 2025, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) emerged at the top with an impressive pass percentage of 99.49%, closely followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) at 99.45%. Private (independent) schools also showed strong performance, achieving a pass percentage of 94.17%. The Central Tibetan Schools (STSS) recorded a pass rate of 91.53%, while government schools achieved 89.26%. Government-aided schools had the lowest pass percentage in the group at 83.94%.
